Shoring – Deep Excavation
We had every possible ground challenge on this site in Sydney’s North Shore. A deep excavation with:
• High water table level
• Close proximity to boundary lines
• Caring for heritage adjoining buildings
• Protecting public assets including Sydney Water
• No permission for anchoring on some sides
To address different issues, we designed a hybrid solution including secant pile with anchors, protected batter, horizontal brace, raked props, tailored to each matter.
